Clearwater Beach Bar, the former Jamminz Beach Bar at 411 Mandalay Avenue on Clearwater Beach, held its full grand opening on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as owner Peter Czajkowski brought the bar back after nearly two years closed.

The opening fell on Stone Crab Weekend in Clearwater. The address is the same as the old Jamminz Beach Bar, but the name is new. Staff said the first day back went well. “They knocked us down, but they couldn't break us,” Czajkowski told Bay News 9.

What changed in nearly two years of rebuilding

Floodwater filled the bar, rose over the bar itself and floated the beer coolers around the room. The building was then gutted and extensively repaired. That work accounts for the gap of about two years between closing and reopening.

Accounts differ on which storm did it. The venue's own site says Hurricane Milton closed its doors in October 2024. Bay News 9 reports Hurricane Helene.

Czajkowski is the owner. According to I Love the Burg, the bar is run by the same team behind Localz Sports Bar.

Clearwater Beach Bar hours, age limit and parking

Hours are Wednesday to Friday, 6 PM to 3 AM. The bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Weekend hours are listed two ways. Hoodline gives noon to 3 AM on both Saturday and Sunday. I Love the Burg lists Saturday as 4 PM to 3 AM and Sunday as noon to 3 AM. Only Saturday differs, so confirm that day on the bar's website before you head out.

The bar is 21 and over only, so bring ID. Dogs are welcome.

Parking is available on the street, in the lot behind the building and in the Clearwater Beach parking garages. If street spots are full, try the back lot or a garage.

Drinks, food and DJ nights

The venue's site says the bar was pouring a limited cocktail menu while it settled in, with the full lineup set for the grand opening. According to I Love the Burg, the focus is cocktails, beer, seltzer and a range of non-alcoholic products, including THC cocktails and seltzers. The same report says the food menu is limited and includes personal pizzas, so plan a full dinner elsewhere.

Live DJs are scheduled every Friday and Saturday night. For a DJ night, go on a Friday, when doors open at 6 PM and the bar stays open until 3 AM. Saturday has a DJ too, though its opening time varies by listing.
